Background:

Rono Chatterjee is the founder and managing partner of Argent Light Capital. Rono brings over 10 years of finance, marketing, operations, and entrepreneurial experience to the management team. Prior to Argent Light, Rono held positions in private equity, consulting, and analytics for Bank of America, State Street Bank & Trust, Liberty Mutual Insurance and business / corporate development roles at EverQuote and Akamai Technologies. Throughout his career, Rono created value to organizations via process optimization, quality improvements, cost savings, analytics, and organic / inorganic growth. An entrepreneur himself, Rono co-founded a technology application for a social taxi-sharing platform and understands the challenges growing businesses face in today's highly competitive market environment.

Education:

Rono holds an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, and a B.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with a minor in Economics. Rono is responsible for Argent Light’s investment decisions and will manage the day-to-day activities of the acquired company.
